Father's Day

I'm trying to journal the events of our summer vacation. I created a new blog just for this purpose, and even wrote one entry before deciding to come back to this one.
It has been a busy first week off. Jenny and her boys have been in town. We met up with them on Wednesday at our house (first official day of summer). The boys played in the sprinkler and the baby pool in the backyard. On Thursday (our second day of vacation), we met them at ChickFilA and Donna came, too. We also went shopping for the last few items we needed for LJ's "friend" BDay party. That party was on Friday and LJ LOVED it!! All day he kept asking me "Is it my party time yet?" and "When are my friends coming for my party?"...it was so cute!
Yesterday, my sister and Patrick were in town. We had Al's Pizza at our house and then we all went to visit Granny and then to Adventure Landing.
Today was Father's Day. We took Joe to the Beach Diner for breakfast. We went to the beach this afternoon and then to my parents' house.

He's here!!

Griffin was born at 8:59 pm on Friday, May 15. He weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz. and was 21 and 3/4 inches long. We came home from the hospital on Sunday night.
